Arrangement
A Statistics section contains many graphs and charts. A list of Abbreviations is included in the preliminary pages. Section 1 lists Retailers and Antiquarians, listed by state, then by city, then by store. Section 2 lists Wholesalers alphabetically by the name of the business. Section 3 lists Book Trade Information while section 4 lists dealers in foreign language books. The index is listed in Section 5 and Section 6 is an index by store names, listing them by city and state.
Entries
Entries are comprehensive listing all pertinent information on booksellers worldwide. The information included covers retailers, genre of books they sell, owner name, address, phone number, specialties, etc.

Arrangement:
Volume 1 lists public, academic, and special libraries in the United States. Volume 2 lists public, academic, and special libraries in Canada and Mexico as well as consortia, and school systems.
Currency/Accuracy:
The information comes from either the library itself or from public sources. It gives very detailed information and is updated annually.

Volumes 1 through 3 list businesses alphabetically. Vol. 4 is cross-referenced by location and Vol. 5 is a cross-referenced by industry SIC code.
