Introduction


This assignment includes the physical description of bibliographic items as well as the provision of access points. Its successful completion will require the application of the rules found in chapters, 1-2, and 21 of AACR2. The rules outlined in the appendices should also be applied when necessary.

Format


The cataloging records should be formatted in MARC. Each record should include the required tags, indicators, and subfield markers. Spacing conventions for prescribed punctuation should be respected. For example:
